Hi!! I´ve been using software for years and i´ve just bought a mpc 2000xl.
I´ve been reading the manual and practising and i have a question:
i just can have 4 drum programs at the same time in a song? That means that i only can have 4 banks with 16 pads in a song? Does this mean that a sequence is limitated to this four banks (64 sounds)???
Thanks i´m completly new in mpc´s :?

I answered something like this not too many days ago. Tutor came back on it also and corrected me (which I need from everybody from time to time).

2kxl can actively access 4 programs at a time, but can HOLD maximum 24 programs in memory. In a seq u can switch between the OTHER 20 programs via program changes created in step edit.
