Busted note variaton slider!!

I just bought used XL and it has broken note variaton slider. Does anyone know how to fix it or where to buy a new one?

Not sure how to fixt it. I don't think anyone here has done it... doesn't mean they haven't, though. I know Forat used to charge about $80 for a new one and installation.

is it broken as in it was dropped and bent or broke off or broken like it just doesnt seem to be changing paremeters like it should?
