hello peeps, today my iomega ezternal scsi zip decided to stop spittin out the zip disk....
problem is there is no manual eject for it.,...and i see no screws on the box to open it...
anyone experienced the same and wanna help me?

Hey,

I have an old zip100 lying around but no power supply so I can't test this out.

Looks like there is a small hole on the back. If the unit you have is powering on you could try sticking a pin in there to eject the disc. CDRoms have a similar sized hole which is used for the emergency eject. No idea if that's what it's for on the Iomega but it's worth a try.

I imagine the screws could be under the rubber feet. You could remove those as a last resort.

no, there arent screws...
u need to make it pop with a screwdriva,
anyway i fixed it with some trying...now its fine again,but damn if i need a mcd!!!

Are you sure that you are using a SCSI zip and not a parallel port zip? I have 4 SCSI iomega zips and they all have an eject button.
