Would the 8 outs from an s3000xl work in the mpc 2000xl?

seek , maybe you didnt catch it , I already got the 8 outs and installed them.
The one on the s3000 is a little different.
I guess it would go with some mods but I'll leave it on the 3000.

Have you bought the official MPC 8 outs & also bought the S3000xl? If so, as we said that is a great combination. Have you got a big enough mixer for all those outs?

You should sell that old S1000 & make sure you get zip drives for both the MPC & the rack.

Yes I bought the 8 outs straight out the box from guitar center AND I also gave the kid a deposit on the s3000xl.
I DO need a bigger mixer though.
I have a eurorack mx802a. ( 4 indivi inputs and 2 shared=6 inputs)
I know that's not big enough.
I also got a "rolls" stereo mic line mixer ( 10 inputs) but if you checked my other thread you know I'm having issues with that. I got all kinds of feedback coming thru that maybe I gotta go exchange that.
Anyway , just so we're clear.
I now have 8 outs on my mpc and I will have the 3000xl with 8 outs and the effects although I am gonna pop that effects card into the mpc 2000xl.
You're right , I should sell that s1000 but the kids that want it around here are broke so I just been holding onto it. I hardly ever even used it.
Worse comes to worse it will keep it's place as a decoration in one of my racks.
Yo , kick knowledge to me about the 3000xl cause I know next to nothing and never used one before.

MESA is not Win98 only. I have it installed in this XP system and have used it with the S2000 and the S3000XL over an Adaptec 2906(?) SCSI card.

Note to anyone looking to buy Millenium..
It doesn't work with the s3000 , but it is compatible with the s3000xl and s2000 samplers. I'm selling it if anyone wants it.

Anyone tried the 8 outs from the s3000 (not the xl) yet? I'm no engineer myself so if anyone has further information on this it would be a really big help.
