As response to Prince's example, about him not using the manual - he's been doing it for awhile, and being a genius helps. I think the MPC manual is total garbage. I've read it about 500 times, and it only makes sense a little bit after I relentlessly try other possibilities. Prince is kinda right about manuels telling you what the machine can't do, that's for sure. But like everything else you have to wade through the trash before you find the treasure.
