SAMPLING FROM A T.V/V.C.R???

How do I hook up my T.V/V.C.R to my mixer or MPC? I tried so many different connections and my MPC doesn't pick up any audio. Do any of you have your VCR and T.V hooked up to your equipment?? Help me please!!

You just need to hook the audio outs of either the tv or vcr into the input of the MPC. Some vcrs and tvs don't have it. Maybe that could be the problem.

If your tv does not have the audio out option hook your tv to the vcr and use the audio out on the vcr to your mixer, but your mixer would have to take rca plugs or you maybe able to find a female Rca to male 1/4 plug at radio shack

Just like those guys said, I'd just run it through a mixer. Especially if you got an eq in it so you can enhance some of the sound of the older stuff.
