You got to put it in and try to use it. I dont think there is away around this. But it doesnt have to be a whole song. Do you know how to use it

cables i need.

I know that it is a way to make your equipment play with your recorder. I did this like 13 years ago with the sp-12 and a fostex recorder. But all it is, is a signal that you put on your recorder that will make your stuff run in sync. I think I used 1/4 plugs one in and one out from the sp-12 you should be able to do the same with the mpc.
