Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hello,

I have an MPC 2000. I installed a zip in my Mac for my Pro Tools setup. I haven't had any problems backng up Wavs and MPC-Mac compatibility until today.

I got a message saying the directory was full even though I had 163MB of space left.

Currently there are 211 samples on the zip disk.

My questions are:

Can I partition my disk in away that will be read by both?

Can I create folders on my computer that can be opened in my MPC?

I tried creating a folder "Kicks". I could see it on the MPC during the load screen i just couldn't figure out how to get the files within it.

Can anybody tell me how to rectify this?

Thanks

You will have to create folders on your zip disk in order to fill up all the space cause you can only put a certain amount of files in the root drive of the zip.. You must creat folders and use those in order to use the zip to the fullest and/or make partitions on the zip and do it that way.. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong..

Thanks for getting back so quick.

Can you explain how I open up a folder on the MPC?

Higlight the folder you want to open and hit "open window".
