MPC 2000xl and Akai S5000 Sampler

Mpc 2000xl and Akai S5000 Sampler. Any suggestions please. What's the easiest way for me to assign percussion sounds to the pads on the MPC so I can trigger the sounds loaded into the s5000. For example, I load the sampler with the percussion sounds I want, I then create a multi. I desire to activate the drum sounds and control them with the MPC without loading them into the MPC. Thanks.
