Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

is this possible?> i'm trying to chop m ysample up in the zone area,adjusting each zones start and end time, but if i cant hear the sample while i'm adjust, how am i supposed to know what i'm chopping?

i just be soo eager to hurry up and learn this thing, turned out all i had to do was switch the option to "zone" since the default was set to all.

well the funny thing is i logged on mpcforums now to find an answer to exactly the same question. the different is: i already switched play x to Zone since i have a printed manual before me but i still cant hear the damn sound plus the black space is not changing its lenght. what im doing wrong? im on 2000 classic too.

i mean, im going crazy over here. im doing everything exactly how the manual says and even tho the start/end numbers change NOTHING happens to the black part of the screan, no zone is being created and i cant hear shit! anyone reading this help me help me (c) qtip!

check your 2k manual and find out how to do that properly instead of guessing. pg 128, 2k manual..

ive spend last 2 hours on this page of the manual and its still not working for me. the rest of themanual is so far real clear to me but this i just dont know. im doing it step by step just like the manual says. maybe there is something in the settings that even if i spin the wheel for 20 seconds the zone moves only a little bit, i dunno?
