zip drives and cds a big hassle??

ok im wonderin how much of a hassle is loading samples into an mpc with zip dics and sample cd's? is it a really big task? beacuse right now the only reason i have 2 copp a mpc1000 over the 2000 is the usb drag and drop feature..but is it that big a diff from using zips and cds? and mpc2000xl user please let me know..

Compared to what? Floppies?

I load from CD's all the time. With a collection of 250+ Akai format CD's alone, having a machine that can load directly from CD is certainly a necessity for me.

Zips I never use.

Just got my SCSI external zip/cd combo and that shit is heaven compared to floppies.


Its a wise investment. Go for the upgrade you won't regret it.
