problems w/fx

i got the 2kxl studio plus which has the eb-16 included. ive tried to do what little the manual says and can not get the fx to work. i can tweak everything that can possibly be tweaked in regards to the fx but i get nothing. so... how do i get the fx to work? i'm probably retarded and overlooked something but it's really pissing me off.

Check out pg 133, you gotta assign a pad to effects and use the fx send volume on that.. I know you've read the book but try once more..
