Wrong Flash ROM

What up fellas, I bought a Flash ROM a few weeks ago from ZZ Sounds and received one with paperwork for the S1000 sampler. I tried to install it and it didn't fit. After doing some research I understand that the MPC uses the same Flash ROM for the S2000 samplers (like the EB16 can be used for both).

I'm just trying to see if anybody else has had issues with the FlasROM and should installation be as smoothe as everything else. I intend on getting one but when I hear about "angling" it...it kinda makes me wonder.

Youve got the wrong flash rom if your talking about the 2000XL.

The s2000 flash rom will not fit in the XL.

Search for "FMX008m" flash rom

Yeah...I kind of figured that. The box it came in was labeled FMC008 (without the M at the end). Anyway, I hear that they're no longer being produced. So the I would have to buy one secondhand. I will if I can find one.
