MPC 2000xl question on MORALS

i used to get real enjoyment out of sitting down and editing samples and sampling on my s3000xl 6 years ago now!

i guess its an individual thing, for me i find manually triggering the sample as i edit works better for me that setting points and clicking with a mouse

imho i think that there are too many people out there producing crap music using reason fruity loops etc who just use sample cds and don't give a shit where the sounds they use come from.

the bad thing about this is that the music industry is plagued with crap music as everyone and their grandmother can produce a "song" on their home pc.

i think its better to chop samples on the MP, because, its rougher pixels than on the computer, so its easier to know exactly where to chop to get it perfect, i don't sample mp3s either, so i do everything on the mpc, my buddy uses a computer.. thats gay.. don't do that shit on a computer. i like to do ALL my music outside a computer, the only thing i do on a computer is recording, cause i aint got no recorder.

that`s the beautiful thing with music is that there are no limits.

in a matter of taste a go with the same as you do.. I do all my sample editing on the mpc...
