wuddup all

err....right

im moving on from comp based recording (to a certain degree) and hardware is what i want to get back into

im pretty new, in fact very new to MPCS, im considering coping myself an MPC 2000XL! and im doing extensive research on how it works etc, so im not just buying it without knowing what the **** i need it for. basically, i still need to ask, will it allow me to do multitracking etc and have realtime control over muting and soloing etc of tracks while they play in a sequence??

also could someone explain to us what method i would be able to use to transfer wav. files from CD or PC to the MPC for sampling??? and what the deal with saving my projects? will i have to buy extra stuff??

and another thing does the MPC come with an already acessable number of drum sounds? or do i have to buy them aswell??

ive read loads of shit on the net, but this stuff has never been set out clearly to me!

thanks

ZIP,SCSI or floppy what the deal with saving my projects? Use .ALL, .APS and you should be fine. will i have to buy extra stuff?? Depends on what you want to do and how you want to work.. and another thing does the MPC come with an already acessable number of drum sounds? No. It's empty or do i have to buy them aswell?? It's a sampler, you sample and/or purchase sounds. ive read loads of **** on the net, but this stuff has never been set out clearly to me!
