any way to make an effect come in every other bar while?

while the drum loop and bass line are comming in every bar.
i got a drum loop every bar along with the bass line and an effect,
i want this violin loop to come in every other bar though, so the forth track i tried to put on 2 bars, and it makes the whole sequence to bars. instead of just the forth track

delete/cut the section on the frist track and copy it to the position it would have been onthe first track second track. copy that drum loop to a differant program or maybe changing the part number and the effect should only attach it self to that one
