How can I.....

I just bought an mpc 2000xl limited edition off e-bay for $525 (GGreat deal). The only problem is the power button switch will not stay down by itself (I was told this at the time of purchase). I rigged it to stay down but I wanted to know if this can this be repaired and how much? thanks!

Any help on this, anybody know if this can be repaired (power button). Anyone ever had this problem?

I'm not sure if you would be able to get just the button fixed, may require a new power supply (so might cost more than a piece of plastic). But I'd check with the guys at VST, they should be able to tell you exactly what can be done and how much.

You can replace the power switch u jus need to get the part. Its easy to do on the 2k so it's prolly about the same way on the XL.
