Syncing Sonar 4 (studio edition) to trigger the MPC2000Xl

Does anyone know how to sync the MPC2000XL to Sonar 4 (studio Edition)? I'm trying to get sonar to trigger my MPC2000XL so that I can track individual sounds out of the 8 outs. Right now it can actually trigger the MPC but when it plays the songs, the song is 1000 times faster than it is supposed to play. I think that I have tried everything possible but I can can't get it to trigger the MPC at the correct tempo.....Is there somthing that I overlooked?

Im guessing you want to MIDI your MPC to your PC Interface?

I use the MPC 2kxl and Sonar as well. Right now, I just set the BPM in Sonar to match the BPM on the 2kxl, then hit "R" on the PC keyboard and "Play start" in song mode at the same time. This formula seems cool for now.

yeah, I finally figured it out after days of trial and error....but I use sonar to record by pressing the record button on screen while having the MPC's midi screen set and in song mode I push play start and the mpc wile then say "waiting for midi play" then I push the sonar's play button and it triggers the MPC to play remotely. This is essential for when you are tracking a song to be mixed as you probably know.....
