Well AFAIK the scsi cardreaders that have been discussed on this board might be able to work on the 2k classic.

Ok my bad I thought you were still going on about that first one. whereas for the second one I doubt it will work but, for that money you might give it a try on your 2k classic. If it fails no harm done it doesn't seem that expensive, if it works .. you will be the official saviour of all the 2k classic owners who wanted a cheap internal cardreader without too much hassle.
