cheers lampdog I am having probs with the bass drum sounding a bit crap, just looking for ideas for help- it sounds gated in the loop

you didn't say gated "in a loop" that you sampled.

basically i havechopped a meters break up, when i cometo record a loop in on the mpc everything sounds nice apart from the bass drum which is too short andsounds gated and staggered
