essentially, i'd like to use my scsi drive to import the instrumentals from my pro tools sessions to my mpc on a track-by-track basis so that i can make break downs and different arrangements while performing live (similar to a dj). when i went to import the files (that were .aiff) my 2000xl recognized them, but said it did not support those kinds of files. is there a way to get around this so that this could work?
i know that the mpc recognizes .wav files, but would i have to go and make the audio tracks different kinds of files other than by converting? basically, will i have to re-open the session and save the files as .wavs?
any information would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
charlie beans
