usually when i do zone, i do just as bravo said.. except after i hit zone, it seems like the samples never chop exactly how i told them to.. they're always a little off..
another way- i may just take the loop, copy it 8 times, then trim each of them to get the pieces i want. it's always important that all the chops connect well tho, because i hate the sound of gaps in between slices.. it's gotta be chopped smooth and precise.
