another way- i may just take the loop, copy it 8 times, then trim each of them to get the pieces i want. it's always important that all the chops connect well tho, because i hate the sound of gaps in between slices.. it's gotta be chopped smooth and precise.
They are actually 'a little off'... this is because the slice feature will default 'end margin' to a certain number of samples, meaning it will leave on some at the end of each slice, I suppose so it's not 'too permanent' and you can re-adjust later. But you can just change the 'end margin' dialog to 'zero'. Before you execute the slice.
