My setup, Need suggestions

ok, i just got a roland cdx-1 and a yahama djx keyboard and was wondering the best way to hook em up, i'm presently doing midi from the keyboard to the mpc , then midi out from the mpc to the cdx-1, any suggestions will be appreciated, just have to figure out how to make it work and produce sound (i.e sound fron the cdx-1 not the mpc

Do you want your CDX-1 to be the master or slave? I had the CDX along time ago but if you have a manual check out what it says for the MIDI connections.

But for your mpc and djx jus take the audio outs to the inputs on the CDX.

i want the keyboard going to the mpc, then the mpc to the cdx-1 so it will be the final machine to have sound, that way i can burn it to cd
