Disk Operation

Hi... I've just bougth "used" MPC 2000 i've a problem with formating disk. It's showing me "Write protection". Can anybody help me solvin g my problem. TNX

what kind of disk are u using? Cause some floppy's dont work cause as stated of writer's protection. on the bottom of the floppy there is like a black slot thing. Move that either up or down and see what happens then. If not try buyin some new floppy disks.
