Whats poppin I just bought an mpc2000 from anotha guy, but he didnt have no operative system. So I downloaded it and put it on the disc and used it for my mpc. And it worked, but these people keep tellin me that the mpc's **** up and I have to sell it, what should I do? I mean, it does work but sometimes when I load samples it says "Disc read error".

Try using a Brand New floppy disk and put the operating system on there. Your MPC isnt messed up. U just have to realize floppy disks do become unreadable after awhile of use. But if u do that and u are still having issues then get a new floppy drive. You can use a regular PC floppy drive.

If your o.s loads correctly but you're getting errors while trying to load samples then it's either the disk or the samples themselves.Make sure your sounds are 44100hz and 16 bit.If it's the floppy follow mnhs' advice and just replace the floppy.Don't let someone con you into selling your mpc.

Don't add to the problem. Forget about the zip for now and mess with the floppy and samples and see what the problem is, straighten THAT out THEN get to the zips.

Wav samples need to be 44khz/ 16bit.
Brand new floppy, try that.
