I have a bit of a frustrating problem with the MPC when I hit pad 1 it recognises that I am hitting that pad and triggers what ever it is assigned to, however when I release my finger I get pad 2 being triggered on the note off. so I hit pad one and in this case it triggers the kick, but when I release my finger it plays the snare which is assigned to pad 2.

I have tried re booting with no avail. Please tell me what is up..

In actual fact it seems to do it on all the pads. when in the shift 6 page and you hit a note and it tells you what it is and where it assigns, i notice what ever pad I hit, it first tells me (for example) Pad 01 and in this case note 60 (bening a c3) when I release it changes to pad 2 and what ever not that is assigned to. but I then hit some over pads, or rather just firmly pressed and sure it assigned to the correct note, but upon release (again) it goes to pad 2.

I dont get it! I have worked around it by assigning pad 2 to nothing, but that is not the point, how do I disable the function where on note off or release it triggers pad 2?

So you solved the problem?
What was the actual reason that caused the malfunction?
