Replacing a Scsi Fuse

I called Vst and it's dirt cheap to get the fuse ($7) but to ship it there and back plus labor well,that's the last thing i want to do.The guy i talked to said it requires soldering.If anyone has ever replaced their fuse could you let me know how hard it is.I'm sure it can't be that difficult is it?

First read this : http://akaiscsifaq.digidude.net/akaifaq_scsi_fuse.htm. From that you should be able to figure something out. I wound up taking that page to a local electronics/instrument repair shop and they did it for less than 100$.....
