recording on the mpc

whats good guys.
I got one question, I saw this rickrock beatmaking video (don´t remember the link at the second but i think some of y`all know what i`m talkin about)
I saw it an wondered how he recorded his synth into the mpc while playin the beat. which mpc he uses? fo me it looked like an 2000 but im not sure.
anybody know somethin about i would appreciate that!

If it's the same vid i'm thinking about it was the Xl.All he did was sequence on the mpc,i think he was just playing something and tweaking it on the module.(if it's the same vid.)

ya thx for the comments, i think it`s the 2000, too. strike, we rly thinking about the same vid. He`s makin his drums mad in seconds, he´s crazy, but i thought hes recording it somewhere while he s playin his drums. pls look it up, i will post the link again if i find it

o.k. then he was sequencing on the mpc and just tweaking off the module.It's been awhile since i've seen it so i don't remember exactly but i think he was using a midi keyboard to play the modules.It could've been the mpc though.
