Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

first off i did search but was unable to find a direct answear, and im sure this will be a quick easy answear. after choppin up my sounds, the loop lasts about a beat or two short for a 4 bar loop. i know the answear lies in time stretch so how do i get the loop to fully fit 4 bars?....thanks

If you adjust the bars by the "BPM match" dosnt it pitch your sample up or down like on a turntable to stretch or shorten the length of the sample?

But timestreching will "attempt" to maintain the correct pitch of your sample.. (but can get wacky if used to extreme).

I've had some good success with the timestretch but only through trial and error. I think if you select the alogarthym (wacky spelling) by that i mean.. male/female vocal, percussion etc. and then start with an increase of 110% and set the adjust to "B" and see what it does.. if its close then re-do it with a slightly higher %...until it works.. ive been trying to work on a chart (like a sample length to %increase) to help me do it faster.. but its coming very slowly.. hope this helps...
