assigning chopped samples to pads

What's up everyone..this is beaglin and I wanted to know how I can assign already chopped samples to the pads on my mpc 2000xl. Thanks in advance. beaglin

I gonna save you some headache and frustration, go to the search icon click it and type in "mpc + assign". It will pull up and bunch of threads and how to's. Also search for the manual if you dont have one yet. Good luck

if they are not loaded.... load them and choose the pad while you are loading. If they are loaded and not assigned, go to program, select a drum (ie drum 1 or drum 2 etc....), choose a pad with no sound, use your cursor and highlight where it is labeled "snd: OFF", twist the knob and it should be magical.
