so where can I get a hold on one of those card readers .. I searched on ebay but i rather buy one from an company..

pt3r has a good suggestion in my "useful links" thread. I had an internal 250zip in my 2kxl. I followed his instructions in that thread, a few days later I had all the parts in my hands, took about 15 minutes and BAM, multi card reader in my xl. I am a VERY happy camper cause I already many different cards from other devices in my crib, all worked just fine..

I have a usb multi card reader for my pc, works great for transfers to 2kxl.

yeah, probably just lost like 20 something beats. I put my disk in and the yellow light just starts flashing and the MPC won't even read it. WTF can I do? Could I load it up on a PC and copy the files to another disk?

Ask this guy to show you where the zip disk are. Oh nevermind...he prolly ain't even know what a zip disk is. But anyway, my Wal-Mart still sells 100mb disk individually for $9.98. Try there.
