Same Tempo but higher putch

Can anybody direct me to a thread/topic which discusses my subject?

I am trying to keep the tempo of a sample I have in my MPC but higher the pitch. Ive just been going back and forth. Ive read the timestretch section of the manual. I know to speed up sample tempo and retain same pitch now I want to work the other way round.

slow down the tempo using timestretch

then, increase the tuning after it do what it do

that way, you can speed it up to the same tempo, but the pitch is higher
