Could I use this to record the outputs from my mpc and synth

I want to record the individual outputs from my mpc and synths at the same time on sync into my computer. Could I use this to record all the inputs at the same time?

In short, yes but there are other ways..Cheaper ones at that.

1st off that has like 24 in's/outs...What are you gonna plug in to all those in's...You only mention an MPC and a Synth? For that kinda money your gonna need to max that sht out 24/7 or you wasted hella cash

The amount of simul tracks you can record at once depends on

a)The amount of inputs you have (on your soundcard/recording device)

b)Your mixer

What soundcard do you have....How many outs are you trying to or do you estimate you'l b recording at once.

What equipment you using?

16 individual outputs plus main outputs so about 22 outputs total.

i've been debating on coping that same unit. I use a VS 1824CD right now but I think that the MOTU would be more practical and less work. I got some tight plug ins (waves) so I know I ain't falling short in that department and the ins and outs compared to my VS. F it! As soon as I get these chips together I'm copping it. In short it's a helluva deal, lord knows I got lines to run.

Your not doing anything wrong in me asking, Im just trying to offer the b side to a coin by saying it can be done another way etc

22 outs is a cool number.......If you wanna drop 22 str8 at one time, hell yea go for it. But at that cost, Id rather take my time and drop 10 at a fraction of the cost.

But how would you do that? How do you record maybe 10 tracks at a time and have all the tracks on point in the sequence?
