MPC 2000XL Disk Read Error!!!!

I have a Akai MPC 2000XL when I try to load a 3.5 floppy it says disk read error. It started this all of a sudden. I replaced the floppy drive with a new one and it started doing the same thing all over again. It does this on all disks new and old, if anyone has had this problem plz help.

Try a zip drive.If that does not work your MPC is having internal issues.Or different try of disks before you get the zip drive.

had the same problem and the cable had come away from the floppy inside maybe thats your prob
