Why do I get a "file directory full" message?

I have or 400MB of space left on an SD card but when I go to save "All programs and sounds" I get "file directory full" message. What's the deal? I have a multicard reader on my XL.

wow, i've never seen that one before. how many files/folders do you have in the root directory of your memory card? are the samples organized into folders, or do you store them in root of your SD?

I only have 2 folders on the "B" partition of this card. The folders are KITS(Drum Kits), and SQ(Individual sequences), and It's a 1GB card.

Try backing up your data on the card, and formatting it again with the MP.
