when i save a *.pgm in mpc, it's ok - it loads back - because it converts the *.wav to *.snd...that's ok, i dont mind and someone said it's much faster tot load *.snd...anyway - the problem is that when i use MPC Editor, make a program, assign *.wav files - and they don't load...i did a search and someone wrote that *.wav files don't load with programs on 2k classic... didn't find a word about that in the manual, nevertheless it's seems to be like that...
so any ideas? remember nicole said she uses MPC editor a lot with the 2k...so maybe there is a way out...or wav>snd converter running on PC...
thanks in advance

Make sure your .wavs are 8 characters or less. Make sure you are saving the pgm and all the files to your disk. Should work like a charm. I neva had an issue inless characters was longer than 8 or the .wav file wasnt 44.1khz like i thought it was. If the file you have dont load try opening it up in audacity and export it out as a .wav or make sure its 8 characters or less then tell me whats up.

thanks, i did what u told me - exported them with audacity, made a new program, even tried to vary the 12bits check box... all my samples are 8.3, i spend a lot of time renaming 'em... however, it didn't help:( any more ideas?

heh, it's ok, i understand that:)
anyway, there's a progress - i tried "export program and samples" instead of "save program as" and it worked (except one file, gives me an error, guess it's wrong wav); mpc editor converted the wav to snd files, so that's the reason it worked i guess...wich option do u use? save as or export?
