ZIP DRIVE PROBLEMS

ive got an 100mb zip drive so i can transfer samples onto my mpc 2000 but im confused on how this works. i hooked it up to my pc and then into the dzip rive and nothing was reconized and then i hooked the zip drive up to the mpc and nothing was reconized either can someone help me out?

Are you sure it's a scsi zip drive ? If so what scsi ID is it set to, what postions is the terminator switch set to? Do you have a scsi interface on your computer?

i read that to get samples from my pc i need a usb zip drive aswel as a scsi is that right?

scsi drive connects via cable to mpc scsi port and usb zip drive connects to pc usb port. Obvious no ?
