it can b used only on internal sounds BUT can b controlled by an external midi controller (u have to assign a midi cc to it)
it can be very useful for filter action, or if u assign it to the decay of an open hi hat, u can emulate the open\closed thang.
its nice also on the Tuning (u pitch shift the samle)
note that its not fully realtime, i mean:
the position of the slider when u trigger a sample will set the assigned parameter for that sample.
if u have a long sample and play it, then while it is playng u move the slider,u wont hear any change.it will affect the next time u trigger it.
hope it is clear,best thing is u try it urself and see what can \ cannot do.
a nice thing to use with midi devices is the note repeat function,that works both for internal and midi.
