is midiclock ok on the 2kXL?

The midiclock on the mpc2kclassic seems really flaky.(using os 1.72)
The internal clock skips if I record with clock out on and the clock is not tight if trying to control other sequensers with it.
Im wondering is it any better on the XL or the 1000 ?

i use the 2K,and the midiclock works fine for me ,never have any problem with it......

may be the other sequencers are the problem ?!
