Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hi,
I have this Blue Mpc 2000 xl 7 days...and i think my MCD CARD Reader is broken i dont know why :( :( :(...The Yellow Lite is non stop ON :( and if i want something to load it say to me "NO FLOPY DEVICE" shiiiit :x :x :x
And when i m turning on my baybe it's very slow and i see this msg "Wait....."
I was never waiting soo much Long in this "wait...." proces like now.

PLEAS PEOPEL HELP....what a fu** ing day :( :? :x

If the mcd light is constantly on then that means the data ribbon cable on the back of the mcd is reversed. Open up your MPC and check to make sure the red part of the mcd data ribbon cable is facing toward the mcd power plug, that is the way the cable should be. RED part of the cable faces power.
