Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

anyone seen it? - hes in his stuio using 2000xl an bunch of other stuff

at one point he's cylcling through samples on the MPC and they are automaticaly assigned to his keyboard - the sounds are definatly in the mpc hes just triggering them from the keyboard..

My question is how is he doing this - will he have already used autochromatic assignment on the mpc and all he was doing was changing the program?

Anyone know -

It's the kurzweil sampler that he has that allows him to do that.

A MIDI keyboard controller will trigger the sounds stored in your MPC. Just have the MIDI cables connected right and it's all good

nope those sounds most definitly are not in the keyboard.

the keyboard is a controller only.

notice the synth rack next to the mpc?

he is using the mpc to switch patchs on the racks, and switch racks.

i think he might be changing backs on the racks themselfs.

but the sounds are in the racks, not the mpc.

but maybe some of them are in the mpc, he did say he loads the same sounds, but didnt say from where. its was in the 400 range, and he could be autochromaticaly assigning them to the keys i dont know.

am i right in thinkin, like the 1000 if you was using auotochromatic on a sample in the 2000/xl, you create and use up a progrm when u do that -
