read through the manual and it doesn't look like I can copy parameters only rather than copy the sample.
I ask this cuz I'm using an eps16 currently but would be nice to have stereo samples to work with. I have a 2kxl collecting dust so I could use it instead but then the chopping isn't as flexible as an eps.
before you call me crazy, what I mean is that I can copy parameters only without copying the sample data in the eps, and if I need to adjust my chops later, I can. but with the mpc, once you execute the slice, there's no way to extend the start/stop beyond what you chopped.
since there's a margin end, I can add some extra space there, and start each chop a bit before what I think the start is, so I can adjust it later.
anyhow, just wondering if there's a way to "copy parameters only" on the mpc, in case I missed it in the manual..
peace.
