pro tools and mpc 2k

can anyone give me a how to, on the basics of midi recording from the mpc into pro tools via the mbox 2? if anyone can help thank you very much, ive managed to understand controlling the mpc thru pro tools, i just dont know how to transfer the data into pro tools via mbox 2 pro tools setup. thank you all for your time.

more detail about exactly what youre trying to do would be helpful....

im trying to import sounds from the mpc into pro tools, so i can eq and do many other things, i believe midi is the way, so ive been trying all sorts of connections and cant seem to get anything to work

ok, midi is NOT the way....

have you read the manual, if not...do so.....if you have, read it again and keep readin it til you understand it....

also, if you use the search function you'll find plenty of info on the subject....
