Anyone know where or how?

Does anyone know where I can buy new pads for my MPC2000(not XL)?

I am fully capable of opening up the MPC and replacing, also I would like to buy new buttons. Anyone that has opened up there MPC knows that the buttons are all attached well I had the great luck of having 2 of my buttons break off so now they are just wobbling under the case.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't really know but I think your best bet would be going back to Akai directly and asking them... or if not Forat does all their customization on MPCs so maybe they could hook you up too... Like I said I've never dealt with this problem, but those two are prolly your best bet.

Just contact akai and they will set you up good..........remember folks-AKAI STILL SUPPORTS THE MPC 2KXL......

that's good to know... hehe in the OS forum they are saying the complete opposite. good old discontinued products, gotta love capitalism.

Yeah, new pads are easier and less costly to support than new OS's.
