Good deal on 2000 classic?

Hi guys, first time poster, longtime lurker.

I've been saving up the cash to buy my first MPC for a while, and at the moment I'm looking at an MPC 2000. It's £250 which is about $490. The memory has been expanded to 16MB, it doesn't have the 8 out board or effects board, and the screen has a few lines "burnt out" but this doesn't seem to affect the display itself too much.

Compared to other prices I've seen for the 2000, I think this is a good deal. I was just wondering (considering the condition) what you guys think? Do AKAI still provide customer support for the 2000? How easy is to get replacement parts should I need them?

hey i think thats a gd price! i copped my 2000 for 300 pound and it has quite a few lines in the screen aswell but i managed to master it with the lines.you can also pick up parts for it very easy to!!http://www.myspace.com/djrawson
