can you make all the beat with in the mpc sequenced and all because i have been using computer programs like fruity loops to make beats and i think its time to move on to some hardware and i luv to sample shit

yeah, the MPC is a Midi Production, Drum Machine, Sequencer all in one.

Yes you can. The MPC step editor is sort of a pain in the ass to use though, especially if you're coming from FruityLoops (I did too) so what I usually wind up doing is I record myself playing the pads on the MPC till I get a good feel for the beat I'm going for, then I save that to a MIDI file and pop it into Cubase for fine tuning. When I'm done, I put it back on the MPC. You can also use this method for Fruityloops but their sequencer sucks, in my opinion .. and their midi module does not do NRPN (non register parameter number) signals last I checked (which may not matter to you right now but is a **** if you use cheaper Korg equipment).

MPC stands for midi production center, BTW :)
