I just baught the xl from a friend of a friend who I can't contact anymore. I know nothing about the machine. How do I start making beats? Is there any way to check how much memory the unit has (sampling time)? Does it have internal memory, or do I have to save my projects externally before I turn off the MPC? (I have a 100Mb zip drive, but no cable compatible with the MP...where would I be able to get that?) I guess I'de just like to know the basics before I dive into this blindly. Thanx. -Wasser
