yo i just sold my mpc1000 for a 2000xl mcd with cf reader 8 outs and max ram but it just don't feel right nomore now im mad that i did that and i use that poly and mono ex on 1000 all the time but the xl don't have it dame

use mute groups instead of poly/mono

thanks any i just went back to sam ash and told them to give me back my 1000 cuz the 2000xl just don't feel rite any more cuz im so use to the mpc1000 and how fast it moves when im doin a track ....i try to do a track when i got up today and i couldn't get nothing to sound good thats what made me move back to the 1000 sorry guys i think im in love

nothing wrong with that. the 1000 is nice too. i'm in love with the XL. I love the 3000 (it sounds like FIRE!), but the XL is perfection for me now.

I think you got caught up in the hype of the 2kxl, it's a well deserved hype BUT the 1k is just techologically more powerful, don't change something you are used to and are doing good with, unless you have already played with the new toy and are SURE it does what you need/already know/expect and more..
