after reading the multi sampling article, i sampled a synbass, exacltly how it said from a midi korg keybord(not triton). any ways everything worked out fine for the moment. so i tuned them all saved, hooked up the midi keyboard. played it on the keyboard and was like kool, like it better than the pads. then i sampled all the drums from it, and save all the kicks in its own prog, saved snares in its own prog sn, ect w/ toms cymbals and hihats.
so it was late by the time i was done sampling from it. so i was like let me make somthing quick. so i put the kick and snare i wanted to use in a program. then i made like a 16 bar drum beat just using kicks and snares(which i liked) so then i was like all right lets use some of the bass i just sampled. so i just switched my prog to sybass. and my drum beat was being played by the keys of the bass in place of the drums(which makes sense) but what i really wanted to do was just switch the program and play the bass using the keyboard over the drum beat.
any easy way of doing this. because im thinking all right now im gonna have to transfer all my sybass to my new program, which sounds long and dreaded, and will change the midi keys. any good quick or auto mated way to do this?
and a 2nd question. lets say i want to sample a guitar per say from this key board and want to sample every key in like 3 octaves. is there any quick or automated way to sample and assign to pads to my blank prog. w/ all the midi #s in order.
thanx and sorry for the long winded post.
