Hi: I have slaved my MC to my MPC which works OK. What I want to do is insert a CC msg into an MPC MIDI sequence so that I can send a pattern change msg to the MC so it can change to a particular preset pattern for each MPC song.
Anyway it doesn't work: I can't seem to work it out from either the MPC or MC's manual. I can transmit note data from the MPC to the MC, and prog data will also send, which changes patch. However I have had no luck with controller data to change the MC pattern. I have looked at settings in both devices, but am at a loss.
Anyone got any ideas how/whether this can be done?
